MASCOTTE, Fla. (TND) — Apparently one of those license plate readers in Florida solved another crime.
“I observed a silver vehicle that matched the description of a stolen vehicle that activated a license plate reader earlier in the evening,” a police officer wrote in the arrest report, last Wednesday, May 8.The Toyota Avalon was at a convenience store parking lot and the apparent driver was inside, buying lottery tickets.

JOHNSONBURG, Pa (WJAC) — The Johnsonburg Community Center is reopening Monday.
Volunteers are cleaning and sanitizing the entire Elk County facility in preparation for the reopening.
All of the facility's amenities will be available, except for the indoor swimming pool.
The community center has been a Johnsonburg staple for 100 years.
One volunteer explained what the center means to him.

PHILIPSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Fifth-graders at Philipsburg Osceola Middle School are relocating to the district's elementary schools.
The decision was approved during a Tuesday school board meeting at the Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District with a 6 to 3 vote, according to Superintendent Dr. Gregg Paladina.
Following the vote, two of the three board members who opposed the motion, Rob Miller and Rob Massung, handed in their resignations, according to Paladina. Paladina said fifth-graders will be moved to the Philipsburg Elementary and Osceola Mills Elementary schools at the start of the 2020-21 academic year. Read More...
