Las Vegas, NV (CNN) — A Nevada man arrested for a series of wrong-way crashes last week had a bizarre explanation for the judge when he appeared in court.
Daniel Asseff said the late NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt instructed him to drive the wrong way on the Las Vegas 215 Beltway.
The incident last Friday resulted in multiple accidents involving cars and cyclists.

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — 911 officials in Cambria County say eight people were transported to Conemaugh Hospital Tuesday night following a fire at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Authorities say the fire broke out just before 8 p.m. at the nursing care facility, which is located along the 300 block of Vo Tech Drive in Richland Township.
