UNIVERSITY PARK — Two Penn State University fraternities lost their recognition on Saturday after what the university called "several violations of university rules."
Delta Upsilon lost its recognition until the end of the spring semester, and Lambda Phi lost its recognition until the end of the 2019 spring semester.
According to the university, this means both frats lost their recognition as a student organization, meaning they can't participate in Greek life activities and can't participate in events like homecoming and fundraising event THON. Read More...
Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a Curwensville man is behind bars after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl and took nude photographs of her.
Police say earlier this week, troopers received a report that the teen was solicited for nude photographs and "lured" from her home to engage in sexual activity by 47-year-old Robert Mallon III.
Investigators say Mallon allegedly began contacting the teen, via Snapchat, in which he reportedly requested sexual photos from her. Read More...
