New Canaan, CT — A private school in Connecticut is mourning the loss of a tenth grader who died after being injured in a hockey game. Teddy Balkind died Thursday after colliding with another player in a junior varsity hockey game in Greenwich. It ran as a rail freight service since the time he bought it, but several years ago they added passenger rail excursions to give riders young and old a chance to take in the sights and sounds of history in motion through the machinery from a by-gone era. PennDOT warns of delays and closures

A major Johnstown-area road project will soon be underway. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is warning local drivers about upcoming road work.. Officials say drivers can expect to see road delays and construction starting next week. PennDOT officials tell us that roadwork will begin throughout Route 56, starting April 8. They say it is part of a new rehabilitation and restoration project throughout Johnstown, as well as Richland and Stoneycreek townships. Read More...
