VERDICT:Bedford County, PA (WJAC) β€” A jury has found Nancy Focht guilty of fatally shooting her husband in 2018. After approximately an hour and a half of deliberations, the jury convicted the 76-year-old woman on charges of first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 74-year-old David Focht Sr. She is scheduled to be sentenced on October 27th. (AP) β€” Lab-grown meat is not currently available in any U.S. grocery stores or restaurants. If some lawmakers have their way, it never will be. Earlier this month, both Florida and Alabama banned the sale of cultivated meat and seafood, which is grown from animal cells. Superintendent arrested after planning to engage in sex acts with 15-year-old: Police

HOUSTON, Texas (WOAI) β€” A Texas school superintendent is behind bars after being accused of trying to solicit sex from a 15-year-old girl in Houston. Investigators said that Michael Stevens, 47, is being charged with online solicitation of a minor. Stevens is the superintendent of a school district in North Texas near Dallas. According to officials, Stevens began talking to who he thought was a teenage girl but were trained officers who were conducting a months-long sting operation. Read More...
