World's largest moth found in Washington state, first US reported sighting

BELLEVUE, Wash. (KOMO) — The largest moth in the world has been found in Washington state, and officials are working to find out if it was alone or if there are more living there. An atlas moth found in Bellevue was reported to the Washington State Department of Agriculture on July 7. 2020 Ebensburg PotatoFest canceled, organizers say

EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — The Ebensburg PotatoFest is now canceled. It was supposed to be held on Sept. 26, the Ebensburg Main Street Partnership said in the announcement. In its press release they said the health and safety of the community, volunteers and attendees was a top priority, and would have been difficult to maintain under current department of health and CDC guidelines. Altoona house fire that displaced 8 ruled accidental

ALTOONA – A fire on Tuesday afternoon damaged three houses in the 300 block of Spruce Avenue in Altoona. Two adults and six children were displaced, according to Altoona Fire Chief Tim Hileman. The fire, which broke out just before 4 p.m., was under control in 45 minutes.
