Spotted Lanternflies are wreaking havoc as one of the top invasive species in Pennsylvania.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, the spotted lanternfly is a planthopper that’s native to east Asia. It was first discovered in PA in Berks County in 2014. Since then, it’s caused significant damage on the local environment as well as the economy.

DUBOIS, Pa. (WJAC) — In an update to the saga surrounding former DuBois city manager Herm Suplizio, the DuBois Area United Way released a statement about its funds that the state attorney general accuses Suplizio of stealing.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE: The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has ruled 19-year-old Helen Miller's death a homicide. The coroner says that Miller died from multiple stab wounds to the body. The coroner also revealed that Helen Miller had cerebral palsy. 14-year-old Claire Miller, her younger sister, currently faces murder charges in connection to her death.
