Jefferson Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Jefferson County District Attorney's office confirmed that a former resident of the Punxsutawney area has been sentenced up to 180 years in prison for repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl.
Officials say Douglas Poole was sentenced last Friday to serve 90 to 180 years after being convicted last November.
Poole was found guilty on all 61 charges he faced, which included rape, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault. Read More...
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — As part of a new five-year contract between the city and Sargent's Group, the Point Stadium will soon have a new alliterative name: "Sargent's Stadium at the Point."

"Bee wranglers" with the American Honey Bee Protection Agency removed and relocated a colony of bees from an abandoned boat in a wooded area in San Antonio on Thursday.
Hector Ramirez, a real estate agent, was stung by the bees on May 2 while he and his father were clearing land with a tractor. Read More...
