Decades old Bellefonte drug store announces closure

Bellefonte, PA (WJAC) — A decades old “Mom and Pop” drug store and gift shop in downtown Bellefonte is closing. The owners of Plumb's Drug Store announced Monday morning that they will be closing their doors after 72 years of business. The owners say the last day the pharmacy will be open is next Monday, the 17th. The retail part of the store will stay open a little longer as they work to clear out the rest of their merchandise.
